Another blast from the past, from a time before spell checking was invented apparently, and the very oldest newsletter on the Vice President of Nearly Everything’s server, this one from February 2008 with former President Dave Tarcy on the quill. Rather intriguingly it records the genesis of the dreaded skirt award – with the first recipients being one Graham Stewart and another former president, Peter Reichlmeier. Well done guys!!
Interesting to note that Ivan was causing problems back then too 🙂
Startling to note also that the start time for Rainbow Hills was 8:30 – none of that sort of nonsense these days of course as we guarantee a bit of a lie in on a Sunday morning for the most obvious of reasons. I
Possibilities are two fold of course, they were tougher in the old days – or we party more now!

Subject: Teeset at bukit pelangi
24 Feb. was another great day for Tee Set. 16 players played but only 15 finished. Jose ( George) retired hurt after 9.
Welcome new members: Mal Robbins, Eric Welbourne
Welcome backs: Iven Byriel (he led us astray- he said he was going away- he didn’t)
Thanks to Jean Zachary for providing us with a dress for the boys who could not hit past the Ladies Red tee. This was the first week we tried this out and we had two intiates Graham Stewart and Peter Reichlmeier.
The rules for this are simple; If you fail to make the ladies tee box then you ware the skirt from that hole to the end of the round. Have your photo taken in full robe and give the dress back to the person in-charge. Just to make it fair we will have one for each group. See the results and photos at www.teesetgolf.com
Don’t forget to register for the long weekend away to Bandung. Sat. March 8 and Sunday March 9 at Girih Grahana. Contact Geoff@kojo.co.id to register.
This week it’s back to Bukit Pelangi, Rainbow Hills. Registration required so contact Geoff for that as well
This week: Rainbow Hills. 8:30 AM. Registration required
