BWA ANNUAL PINK GOLF DAY
Due to Matoa Nasional undergoing some changes at present, BWA are pleased to confirm the new arrangements for our annual charity day. We will be holding the event at Cengkareng Golf Club on Friday 8th October. This promises to be a first class event, whilst in keeping with the fun factor that BWA Golf days are renowned for. Mark your diaries and register your interest at golf@bwajkakarta.org to receive the registration details in due course. All levels of players catered for so please sign up and come along to support our worthy causes.
ISCO MONTHLY EVENT
The next ASI Charity Golf tournament is to be run in conjunction with the German Open Cup and is presently arranged for 28th May 2021 at Riverside (tbc); 07.00am tee off, breakfast from 6am with lunch and prize-giving afterwards. Further details can be obtained by contacting one of the below.

ISCO is active in bringing education to over 2,500 disadvantaged children in Indonesia.
Forty-two (42) are studying very successfully in different universities this year and some have finished already!
We guarantee a job for every ISCO sponsored child, who reaches graduation at senior high school! This year we have already found more than 100 jobs for them, also thanks to you and those who frequently attend this popular and very inclusive monthly social gathering. In total, already more than 6,000 children have been supported through our education programs!

Djakarta Old Golfing Society
The Djakarta Old Golf Society, more commonly known as The D.O.G.S., have been playing in the Jakarta area since 2005. The original D.O.G.S. were based in Manila, Founder Fritz Hainzl saw a need for a similar organization in Jakarta and formed the Jakarta chapter. There are now over 500 past and present members of the D.O.G.S. Each week, usually on a Saturday, 25 to 40+ members turn up to compete for the Big Dog trophy.
The D.O.G.S. play a 6 week tournament consisting of an Eclectic competition and Lowest Gross competition. For the Eclectic, a players best score from each hole over the course of the competition is used to determine the overall champion. Lowest Gross Champion is determined by averaging players best 4 gross scores over the 6 weeks. The winner of the Eclectic takes home the coveted Big Dog.
Each week’s game also has a Stableford competition to determine the Weekly Champion. The winner of the weekly honors takes home the Little Dog which is almost as popular as the big guy.
The D.O.G.S. are very relaxed with all ranges of players welcome. Each week there are beginners to single digit handicaps showing up. If you don’t know somebody a pairing is easily organized. There are no membership dues. A small game fee is collected from players each week which is used for trophies and prizes. There is also no minimum number of games to show up for, players may play as much or little as they like.

Jakarta Albatross Weekday Society Golf Society
JAWS is a group of over 100 fun-loving lady and gentleman golfers at all levels taking advantage of Greater Jakarta’s amazing courses while avoiding the weekend crowds.
Having established relationships with most golf courses, JAWS members now enjoy special discounted weekday rates. Our goal being to organize and play at least one JAWs round per week but increasing demand has resulted in multiple rounds being the norm, with games being set for Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly and the odd extra game depending on special requests like a birthday celebration round.
Having a great time is our priority, so regardless of your playing level or background, you are invited to join us for a fantastic weekday social event.
JAWS is a non-profit group and so no membership fees are required. Our philosophy is to host regular midweek ‘social’ golf games where amateurs can practice, have fun, network and make new golfing friends.
