Jakarta Golf Club

Founded in 1872 and the oldest golf club in Indonesia, Jakarta Golf Club was formerly known as the Batavia Golf Club, and is also, rather confusingly, known as Rawamangun for the district of Jakarta in which it is located.

Situated in a mere 36 hectares, this par 71 course is compact and no more than 5,827 yards off the men’s tee. A traditional old English park-land course, it is tree, water and bunker rich with tight tree-lined fairways , that is to say it has no “Tee Set Friendly” elements at all – and compounded by being an “all male caddy” course. We will occasionally play it in  the rainy season as it is far away from the mountains and less rain-prone than most.
