With Interleague Sunday coming up we have received a report of the league’s week 3 results including our own brave lads and lass overcoming Mad Dogs 8-2. Though not the most detailed of reports, it is supplemented by other information regarding the future of Interleague and its deteriorating relationship with Jagorwawi GC that makes for interesting reading.

The opposition for the Interleague team for Sunday really could not be stronger as we take on the might of the team calling itself the “Cloggies” though in truth the connection of a number of their players with the land of tulips, dykes and wacky baccy can be described as tenuous at best.

Cloggies head the table with 26 points out of 30 after 3 matches, a lead of some 7 points over 2nd placed Sandbaggers and 10 points over Tee Set. With some fine new talent having been picked up since the start of the season, Skipper Wymer is hoping to rattle their cage.

Alternative venue for Sunday is the quite delightful Permata Sentul course off the Jagorawi Jalan Tol (Sirkuit Sentul exit and turn left before the Sirkuit entrance itself). In addition to being a really nice course, they have outstanding caddies and a nice clubhouse so a fine afternoon is in prospect.

Green fees including shared cart are 660,000 roops and with a start time of 12:30 though. as we have said before, there is every prospect of getting away earlier than that, so do aim to get there no less than an hour earlier, at 11:30.
