This deceptively friendly looking par 3 on the West course should in fact have a skull and crossbones on the tee box with the stark message “BEWARE OF THE GREEN”

Even playing badly is not so terrible when the surroundings are like those to be found at that delightful mountain course in the Puncak area, Gunung Geulis, which we visit on Sunday for the third time this year. Still not clear if we are on the East or West course but it hardly matters as they as good as each other – and doubtless they will let us know before we tee off.

Ramadan should also be helping with the traffic which is expected to be relatively light on the way there on Sunday morning, but you might be best coming over the mountain to Rainbow Hills and thence Sentul on the way back. A map may help.

Tee Time is 12:00 (and NOT 11:30 as previously advised) from both tee boxes with fees of just 588,000 roops including shared cart, more than 100,000 less than usual due to some sensible Ramadan pricing. Every chance of getting away early so you are strongly advised not to cut it fine this week unless  you actually enjoy playing on your own.
