We last played Palm Hill on the 5th May when, in something of a tribute to the quality of the course and indeed the reasonableness of its green fees, 46 Tee Setters showed up – and witnessed Joseph Peries shooting 74 off the stick to take Low Gross while Nuri Puzey and Cucu Chandra both shot net 68s to take Low Net honours.
With Jakarta and environs on the cusp (and very possibly more) of the rainy season, this will be our last trek down the Jagorawi Tol for a while so join the 25 Tee Setters who have already signed up for a last look at the mountains this year.
Green Fees of 508,000 including shared cart won’t kill you, while a shotgun start at 1pm has its attractions for many too, so, if you haven’t already, register here as usual.

We are coming up to the 2013 Tee Set Championships of course and it is looking like it is going to be a great event once again with a full house looking forward to all the fun and games – 90 players already registered so this is probably your last chance to grab a place for arguably the best Society golf day of the year available in Jakarta.
We are compiling the usual stats ready for our annual bean feast and can share some interesting play statistics with you about Sundays played by Tee Setters since the last Championship. A minimum of 15 Sundays played constraint still gives us a remarkable 35 Tee Setters on the list.
You will see that the President of Everything has been beaten out of his “most played” title for once, with only home leave ever keeping everyone’s favourite Swiss off the course on a Sunday morning. Well done, Evaldo.
See yah, Sunday …. Tee Set
PS In an unfortunate development, Chris Murchison’s golf bag and clubs were stolen from his place a couple of weeks ago – the bag is a dull green material with the Manila Dogs logo. while the irons and driver are all Taylormade. Keep an eye out for them, the bag at least is unique in Jakarta anyway!!

Hey guys,
I checked my handicap from your list and it said 13.4. Has another Dan Brod moved to Jakarta, because my should be around 20..
Thanks and see you Sunday!
Dan Brod (the original)
Over to the President of Everything 🙂
