We have had our issues with Pangkalan Jati in the past, largely due to the starter’s propensity for inserting large numbers of Koreans into our field, however, there is no doubting that it is a very decent course and worthy of our attention from time to time.
No straight up and down track this, possessed as it is of a wide variety of interesting holes, as all those who have tried putting a second shot over the river at the par five 1st, the graveyard at the par 5 twelfth or, for the truly brave, going atop the jungle with their drive at the par 4 seventeenth will testify.
An 11:30 tee off from 1 and 10 as ever at PJ – and while the clubhouse remains incommunicado we believe green fees to be a reasonable 475,000 including cart, or 375,000 for walking an eminently walkable course. If you haven’t already then let us know if you intend playing here.
We recently provided a link to the Golf Indonesia report on our activities in October and a copy of the whole magazine was in the recent Tee Set Championship goody bag. If you have read any of that lot then perhaps you could spare 5 minutes to provide them with some feedback here?
Golf Indonesia’s support of Tee Set will continue in December with a full report on the Tee Set Championship itself
See yah Sunday! …. Tee Set
