The last Sunday of the month means a return to Senayan National in the heart of the city for all the fun of our Monthly Medal and its wide array of prizes, none of which are likely to endanger your amateur status but do come complete with priceless bragging rights. .

We are pleased to say that in our first venture into this area, the net proceeds of the day will be donated to the Tee Set’s favourite charitable organisation here in Jakarta, the Yayasan HOG, an organisation run by a bunch of  “charitable givers with a biking problem” who do an enormous amount of great work in supporting disadvantaged kids here in Jakarta, notably through the Gentur Foundation.

Around 100 kids with cleft palate and/or cleft lip have had their lives and prospects transformed with operations funded by the Yayasan HOG in 2013; let’s help them in their mission to help many more this year.

We have not yet been advised of the limit, if any, on our numbers for Sunday but it’s undoubtedly best to get your name down early just in case we need to apply the “first come first served” principle as our usual large numbers for Senayan are likely to be swollen by HOG golfers wanting to support the event.

Green fees of just 500,000 roops on Sunday, plus 250,00 if you share a cart. First tee time of 11:00 from tee boxes 1 and 10 – or perhaps more tees if the Immediate Past President of Most Things proves the worth of that silver tongue on the Senayan Management again.
