Yep, last Sunday of the month and it is Tee Set Monthly Medal time at the hugely popular Senayan National. Being a very fine course (though with too many bloody par threes), having a great clubhouse and an easy to get to central location – on a Sunday at least – are of course the primary drivers of its popularity.
We have been in discussions for many weeks over extending our 6 month agreement with Senayan but despite significant flexibility on our part, have been unable to arrive at acceptable price or starting time agreement and it may very well be that this will be our very last appearance at the course unless there is movement on their part.
All the usual prizes on offer plus vouchers from sponsors VDoor, Slaneys Meat, Cecelias Cafe and Santi’s Premium Pies. The proprietor of the last is still checking out the pie scene in Turkey and does not return until after tee off on Sunday but has however promised to award the Low Putts winner with six of her finest the following week – or whenever!
11:00 tee time with green fees of 500,000 and 250,000 extra for a shared cart on Sunday, with the former at least being a very attractive rate for this premier course
We have plenty of places left within our maximum allocation of 60 players so, if you haven’t already signed up, then register in the usual way to join in what will likely be our swan-song at Senayan.
See ya Sunday! … Tee Set
