Plenty of Tee Setters already signed up for the round on Sunday at the ever popular Palm Hills, a round that in addition to all the usual fun will also be the September Monthly Medal for this month only.
Special prizes for Stableford winner, Long drive and Nearest the Pin etc thanks to support from our loyal sponsors, Slaney Meats, Santi’s Premium Pies and Cecelia’s Cafe.
Matoa, our usual Monthly Medal venue has a huge tournament on so we didn’t want to compete for turf with that lot and of course we got an offer from Palm Hills that simply could not be refused, 608,ooo (note change) including cart and an 11:30 start off 1 and 10.
Ever popular? … “easy to say”, I hear you say, “where is the evidence?, – here’s a few statistics:
And those numbers make Palm Hills Tee Set’s second most popular course, excluding the Monthly Medal venues, after Rancamaya.
No brainer then, Palm Hills here we come, sign up here is you have not done so already.
If you are keen to make it a full golfing day then come and join the Tee Setters already signed up for the Ryder Cup event at Fez in Kemang when a live feed will be available on umpteen big screens.
To ensure you don’t die of hunger or thirst during the event, the entry fee of 300,000 roops provides you with the usual high-class buffet from Fez, free flow beer from 6:30 until 9;00 and door prizes galore. For every Tee Setter who attends there is also their own personal gift of a sleeve of Pro V1s to make this the day’s second no brainer.
Should be a fantastic evening watching the closing stages on Sunday with your golfing mates – with some of them no doubt supporting the opposition. The Aussies and Kiwis will doubtless be looking on with delight at the agonies and ecstasies of the rest of us as the drama unfolds.
If you haven’t already, then drop Keith a line if you are coming in order to make sure you have no problems getting your sleeve of balls.
See ya at Palm Hills, let’s have another great Tee Set Sunday in the Sun.
