Another of Jakarta’s finest this Sunday with a long overdue visit to the delights of Gading Raya, a challenging but pretty fair course.
We say long overdue because it was way back in December 2012 that we last played there, when the Immediate Past President of Most Things was still a lad and shocked us all by winning Low Net. Lightning surely cannot strike twice?
We have an official letter from the club telling us that we will get away from 1 and 10 at 11:00. Unfortunately we also have an equally official looking letter from them telling us we are away from 11:27 onwards and, as it has a later date on, 11:27 it is – and with little prospect of getting away any earlier than that.
Simon Reynolds has obtained a pretty attractive rate, including cart, of just 675,00 roops, only 15,000 more than we paid nearly two years ago which is something of a bargain for this quality of course, particularly given what your base country currency has done against the roop in the interim. Well done Simon.
30 plus Tee Setters already signed up so if you are not one of them then get your name down here.
Tee Set Championship
Getting closer, however, we still have a just a few places left so, once again, if you are not signed up don’t be shy as the remaining places will open to the great unwashed on Monday next – and we would hate for you to miss out.
A list of those already registered for the Championship can be found here and, as Brenda is not running the list, you are very strongly advised to confirm your name appears on it if you think you have registered 😦
