The Nearest to the Pin and the Long Drive paraphernalia are all sorted, vouchers received from Slaney’s Butchery while Santi has taken the pies out of the oven and the shield has been engraved and brought up to date.
So, we are all set to go for the latest instalment in the Monthly Medal saga with plenty to play for, not least those valuable bragging rights. Several pairs will also be playing their 1st round Matchplays; putt out guys to makes sure you are also in the general swirl of things.
Tom Grace was runner-up in January and joint winner in February, will he go the final step this month?
A little fairy tells us that Imperial is just fantastic condition at the moment so a great day to look forward to. Register here if you are not one of nearly 30 Tee Setters already signed up for the fun; tee off from 1 & 10 at 11:48 and with green fees of a very reasonable 750,000 roops including shared cart – surely great value for this superb course.
Interleague
It has been a since our brave guys and gals won their first outing in the Interleague in fine fashion, however, here is a reminder from the Interleague Newsletter published today.
When deciding that the general Tee Set event would be separated from the Interleague, your committee wisely decided that, on two occasions during the year, the body of the kirk would join those on the altar and play with them 🙂 A reminder therefore that the first such occasion is the week after the Monthly Medal, on the 29th March.
See ya at Imperial!! … Tee Set
