Genung Geulis is a  quite stunning  course nestling in the Bogor area mountains – and is certainly one of the Tee Setters favourite Sunday venues.

If, as is likely, we play the West course, then those who haven’t played before are in for a shock as they are forced to look down the barrel of a more than 100 metres drop to the 1st fairway – and with more than 100 metres of jungle to carry in order to get to that fairway. Bravehearts only!

Tee Set Eclectic

Yep, it’s the Tee Set  Eclectic, the comp that hardly anyone knows they are in 🙂

Leading standings to date, through sub-net 70, are as follows:

Norman’s consistently strong play in recent months, and having played all three events so far, is reflected in his number 1 position – but there are still three events to go of course – and there are plenty in the pack behind him.

Interestingly, DOGS run such a format all the time – and we now learn that they only allow “half handicap”! – too late for us to change of course, even if we wanted to 🙂

Prizes/trophies? …  yep, we will probably be able to announce something or other after the committee next gets round to meeting on licensed premised but, as ever with Tee Set, you should not anticipate being able to retire on a good result – the bragging rights have far higher value of course.

Communications? … we promise to get better, the table you see above will be updated and made available after each Monthly Medal in future.

HOGFest – Saturday 9th May

Tee Set is a strong and long time supporter of the HOGS and the work they finance in giving Indonesian kids with cleft lip and/or cleft palate a chance at a life worth living, something they really don’t have with the condition untreated.

We know Tee Setters to be both charitably minded and lovers of fun, so we have been extremely disappointed by the response to date to the HOGFest event on Saturday 9th May, an event that has traditionally been the main source of funds for the HOGS work. We would be truly saddened to see those HOGS having to cut back on their scheduled 120+ operations this year due to any lack of support from us.

That HOGfest is loads of fun is a given and to encourage you on the charitable side, we will be matching the value of all tickets purchased by Tee Setters to the event up to a maximum of 10 million Rupiah. Have a look at the event details here.

We will have tickets available at Gunung Geulis on Sunday but appreciate that not everyone who would like to go to the HOGFest will be there, so a chance here to reserve your tickets – we will get them to you somehow.

The entire Tee Set committee will be attending to have fun and show their support to a truly great cause – and hope that as many other Tee Setters as possible will join them at their capacious table
