Jagorawi End of Interleague Season Event, 22nd November 2015

The day (and the play)

A shorter post than normal today as no results to report.

As the last day of the Interleague calendar, we looked forward to celebrating with other teams in a modified scramble format which ended up having no scramble element…well unless we applied it ourselves, which some teams did!

Confusion reigned supreme but did not get in the way of some good golf being played on a Jagorawi course that has lapped up recent rain and become green again.

The highlight of the day was receiving the Interleague Champions trophy which Captain Ric graciously received on behalf of the 20 players who played and the rest of Tee Set who cheered on…or played for other teams. Read about in the Interleague newsletter here:Interleague

Special mention to Murcho who was awarded Most Value Player after going through the year undefeated and playing all but one interleague round…well done Murcho!

A warm welcome back to Mel after a year in Australia, seen here being silly as ever…and in good company.

This was a popular pose with Daniel bringing Malty and the Singing President down to size on the course and for the photo.

Tee Set fielded 6 teams, although Stuart and Luke had to team up as a two ball after various desertions to Loose Impediments and Mad Dogs teams, including this conspicuous desertion captured on camera…..and he’s still in uniform….

Lots more great photos here.

Next Up

Yes it’s the Tee Set Club Championships at Matoa Nasional just in case you have been hiding on another planet.  Registrations are now full so your only chance if you have not registered is to join the waiting list.  For those that miss out, our next big event is a combined team event with our friends from DOGS and HOGS at Modern on 13 December.  More details to follow but should be a great day out.
