We had planned this week to return to a nostalgic favourite of Tee Set, Pondok Cabe, but a tournament there has ousted us and we have the opportunity instead to play the excellent Lotus Lakes course in Karawang on the way to Bandung.  Co-incidentally the last time we played there was also the Sunday immediately following Independence Day last year.

Lotus Lakes has 3 separate nines, each with its own appeal.  To speed up play we have agreed to use 3 nines, so players will have a different mix.  If you have existing preferences of nines, let us know in the comments field of your registration here, otherwise be brave and take pot luck.  Don’t ask how we will factor in which nine you played into prizes, we will assume they are all the same.  If you feel you are good enough to game the system, you are probably delusional, but good luck.

To celebrate Indonesia’s 71st Anniversary of Independence, we invite you to wear red and white but it is not compulsory.  A prize will be given for best costume!  Technically the red is supposed to be on top or you may be celebrating Poland instead 🙂 but you can always stand on your head….reminds me of an old rugby song.

We normally get an early start at Lotus Lakes so plan to arrive at 10am if you can.  It has some long par 4s but to please the more macho among us, we will be playing blue tees. We will check how wet or dry the course is before declaring whether we are playing winter rules or not.  Green fees are 800 000 not 850 000 as originally posted…bonus!
