Coming Up: World Cup of Tee Set – 2nd and 9th October

A trophy at least as big and grand and shiny as this one awaits the winning team of the inaugural World Cup of Tee Set.

And unbelievable bragging rights!!!!!

The event will be held over two weeks between teams of 6 players, representing your countries, continents or regions.  We have been working behind the scenes and so far we have the following teams registered, but not yet all complete:

Team ANZAC 2 – captained by Craig Edwards (complete)

Team ANZAC 3 – captained by Tony Howarth

Team Canada – captained by Tom Grace

Team Finland – captained by Jari Rahtu (complete)

Team India – captained by KK (complete)

Team Indonesia – captained by Wina Nugraha (complete)

Team South Africa – captained by Anlo Du Pisani (complete)

Team GB – captained by Stuart Wigley

Team USA 1 – captained by Geary Bowles (complete)

Team USA 2 – captained by James Ross

We are yet to have a team anywhere from continental Europe – so come on Team Czech you have an instant team in one family !!  And we need Team Germany for sure, or at least Team EU!  Even if the Poms rejected you, you know you are always welcome in Tee Set 🙂

As for Asia, we are yet to hear from Team Thailand (come on Thai Guys, you could field 2 or 3 teams) and Team Philippines – you guys love a good stoush, you gotta be there!!

Individuals not in a team will be invited to register next week in the normal way and indicate their preferred team, but there are no guarantees, you may have to be an honorary Canadian, Aussie, European or Pom.
