The Day
Just as the floods hit South Jakarta late in the week, so did the tidal wave of late registrations, reaching 57 by the day. As usual a great day was had by all, with various beverages contributing to the mood. A bit of a rushed post this week, but the pictures tell the story.
Only three newcomers welcomed this week to Tee Set – Steve, Gyong and Allan (hopefully pictured here).
Big welcome backs to Gert, Jan and Dominic. Great to see too, groups mixing it up, with some fantastic photos here and in the gallery here.
Thanks to Pastis Pascal and Brenda for running the day and taking almost 300 photos – including a particularly special collection of follow through shots. Not sure that sounded right….anyway you know what I mean. Check it out. Thanks also to Pieter for helping out and Ric as usual, looking visionary in this shot below.
The Play

Monthly Medallist for the month of September is perennial prize winner Bas, shooting a net 67 for 41 stableford points, well done Bas. Great to see we have found the shield and medals.

Other winners were Jeff Landau (75 gross, 68 net) and James Ross (net 69) in A and B grades. Stuart picked up Low Gross with a solid 80. Various skill prize winners. Drew won the triple crown – monster putter, most strokes and a skirt, joined by 3 buddies in the photo below.

Next Up: Tee Set World Cup, Riverside
As advised we now have teams for USA, GB, ANZAC, South Africa, Finland, India, Indonesia and North America. Still no Team Europe – is this a sign that you have decided to leave the World?
There are spare slots available for the World Cup next Sunday; we are not too religious about who people play for nationality-wise so sign up even if your country has no team or empty spaces, we will fit you in subject only to an overall limit of 80 players which really should be enuff to accommodate everyone.
Sunday 2nd October is four ball better ball format – played in teams of two using stableford scoring for the better ball of your team. Pairings can be done on the day. If you have already registered with a team, no need to register here. However, if you want to join in the fun of what will undoubtedly be a great event, and haven’t done so already, then get in here.
