Your hard-working committee have brought you a bunch of high quality courses recently and Sunday will be no exception as it sees us at Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) at the end of the Serpong Tol, a course which surely rates at or near the top of any league of Jakarta area courses – we are in for a rare treat.

Green fees including shared cart are, at 999,000, somewhat more than we normally go for, and this even though your committee bargained hard. They did however manage to get a very considerable reduction from the Sunday walk-up guest rate as you will see if you wander around the course’s website here. First tee time will be 11:42 off tee boxes 1 and 10.

Tee Set’s 34th Birthday Bash Scramble

Yep, it’s that time of year again, time for yet another Tee Set celebration of our birth back in 1983 when men were men and woods were made out of, erm, wood. This is always a fun occasion so do get your friends and family involved, it certainly is one where ability really does not matter at all.

Last year’s Birthday bash format was hugely popular and we are therefore not going to mend it. 4 player scramble teams with a team handicap derived from the individuals handicaps – and with birthday party hats, lots of liquid prizes and, we hope, lots of door prizes too depending upon the generosity of our membership!

The exact details, including the date which will certainly be in August and not as scheduled on our calendar, will be revealed only next week. You will be able to sign up individually or as a team next week so start thinking about your team – and your team name, as you will see below they were pretty graphic last year.
