As usual for the last Sunday of the month we are back to Padang Modern for the monthly medal where Laurie O’Connor will be looking to retain the shield for another month as he defends the Monthly Medal.

The winner will take home a medal and Rp1juta voucher from Grand Slam Golf as well as get their name immortalized on the Monthly Medal Shield. Tee off will be at 12pm and the cost is Rp770k including cart.

With Halloween almost upon us, turn out on Sunday to play in your best Halloween costume and you will be in the running to win a Rp500,000 private golf lesson voucher  from our own Coach Ken Runyon and his team at Accel Golf Academy. Tee Set Championship: Save the Date

An early reminder that the most important golfing date on our calendar it almost upon us. Sunday 26th November 2017 is the date for the 2017 Championship where we will award our Championship Trophies for Best Net and Best Gross, the Match-Play winner, 2017’s Eclectic Winners and a host of other awards and skill prizes on the day. We will also party hard before, during and after the round as our 6am registration makes sure we get the most out of the day. To keep you going there will be, as always, a few beverages, the BBQ stand and a special performance from the Singing (Former) President to dance the afternoon away to following the prize giving.

As always numbers will be limited and preference given to those who have supported Tee Set during the year. For those who have been regular players, look out for the email inviting you to the event and fill in your on-line application asap before the event is opened for general registration.

As the current President inherited his role during the year, Roger Finnie has expressed a willingness to continue on for a full year’s term. However the position is open for anyone to be nominated so if you wish to stand for election please inform VP of Almost Everything, Ric Wymer. If we have multiple candidates for the position then an election will be held as usual on the day.

Lastly, but no less important, up to date handicaps are required to eligible to win one of the Championship prizes. For those playing regularly but not submitting cards from outside Tee Set and/or for those who have not played regularly with Tee Set over the past 6 months, please get your cards into Brenda asap. We will review current handicaps for all registered players and will apply a cut-off of eligible players based on cards submitted and registered by 19th November. If deemed ineligible by the Handicap Committee you are still able to play on the day and win a skill prizes but not win the Championship Trophies.
