Being the last Sunday of the month, we head to one of Jakarta’s finest courses and one of Tee Set’s most popular venues, Cengkareng, home for Tee Set’s 2018’s Monthly Medal. From February 2018 I am pleased to announce that, in addition to recognizing the Monthly Medalist with the Medal and Shield presentation, we will recognize the Low Net and Low Gross winners at the Monthly Medal event with the presentation of a trophy each as below in lieu of the current cash prizes.
This has been possible thanks to the generous support of Ken Runyon and his team at Accel Golf and Golf and Special Events Management who offer bespoke golf and non-golf event organization for charities, societies or corporations.
GSE will be sponsoring the remaining Monthly Medals in 2018.
This week will also be the 3rd round of Cycle VII of the Tee Set Eclectic with James Ross currently leading after 2 rounds with an Eclectic score of 62. For those wishing to check their scores and current placing please check out the Eclectic web-page.
A reminder that there are just 2 weeks remaining to get your preliminary round completed in the Match Play so please, if you have not already played, reach out to your opponent and arrange the match either this week-end or next. A reminder also to send James Ross your results when they are in so they can be officially updated.
Whilst there is a lot to attract players for this week, we also welcome those who just wish to enjoy a pleasant stroll or ride the a hover-board over the rolling fairways, guided round by Cengkareng’s well trained caddies and then to sit and enjoy one of its famous Margaritas to cool you down afterwards.

Inter-League
With Jagorawi Golf & Country Club having reduced rates for Tee Set and Inter-league this year, we will combine our weekly Tee Set event there on the 6 week-ends when Inter-League is being held. The first round of matches for the Inter-League will begin on March 18th.
Tee Set will be running 1 team only this year. Please advise Captain Roger Finnie or VP Ric Wymer if you are interested in playing in the Inter-League matches this year. For those wanting to learn more about Inter-League please visit here for more details.
Battle Royale III
Installment III of our now annual match against Par 5 Club, Bali is planned for the week-end of 20th-22nd April 2018 (a week later than the current schedule shows as Inter-League has been moved forward a week). The team will be captained by Nick Gleeson this year and the match is to be held at Handara Golf Club in Bali.
With both teams staying at the course, in addition to the 3 rounds of golf for the trophy, we are planning a Saturday night party and post event BBQ on Sunday. We are still negotiating rates but the initial prices are very attractive so we hope to get more than the 22 Tee Setters and partners who came along to the inaugural event in Nirwana 2 years ago.
