Jakarta Inter-League: Calling all interested Players
After many years of being hosted by Jagorawi Golf and Country Club, the 2019 JIL season will get on the way on 24th March 2019 at a new venue, Riverside. As in 2018, Tee Set will hold its weekly event on the JIL Sundays at the same course and we will field 1 team from registered players to compete for the Society in JIL. Usually we have requests for Tee Set to help fill out one or more of the teams so we can give more opportunities to play than just the 8 required to fill our team on any given week.
This year, we are appointing a new Captain, Simon Oxley, with the hope he can galvanize our team to victory and recover the JIL Cup last won in 2015. 2 opportunities to get some extra golf in. At Cengkareng, the first installment of the 2019 Thompson Cup matches between the St Andrew’s Society and St George’s Society will take place. Captains Roger Finnie (St Andrew’s) and Mark Johnson (St George’s) would be happy to hear from interested players for this fun and enjoyable day.
