As has been our tradition in recent years, our first game of the new Tee Set year was held at Gading Raya. Shocking weather cleared just in time for Tee Off and some very good golf was played.
Congratulations to Tapio with an outstanding round of 46 points, our winner of the day. Tom and Laurent both and 41 points, with Tom awarded runner up on count back. Andrew shot a fine 74 to win Low Gross. Peter again dug himself out of trouble to win first sandy for the second week in a row, and Richard, found yet another prize to win with first birdie on the first. Leading in the ladies was Juju on 38 points.
Juju also overcame Roger 3 and 1 to advance to the matchplay final with Timo. Congratulations to Juju – who incidentally is also in the DOGS matchplay final. Tough competitor!!!!
Next Up: Sunday 12th December 2021, Monthly Medal, Cengkareng
Recognising that many will be away for a break, we bring the monthly medal forward to mid December, so we will be back to Cengkareng next week to battle it out. Note that it is a net strokeplay event with gents playing off the blues tees. Please register on Mygolf2U.
Please note local rules on the app. These will be updated from time to time at the President’s discretion.

Now, the last unashamed plug, and a farewell from your scribe. I have enjoyed my return to the pen very much but it’s now time to pass it on due to work, family, and music with the Jaya Blues Band starting to take off and releasing an album in February of songs recorded during the months when we couldnt play live (yes come and see us and follow us on Facebook and Instagram).
See you on the course and all the very best to my mate Geoff and his team moving forward.
