HIGHLIGHTS ( The THOMAS Report)

Our merry band of Halloweeners loved Cengkareng which was in tip-top shape once again. Except for the overgrown ladies’ #16 tee box this tract is in pristine trim. Kudos to Kurt and krew.
Hitoshi, whose wife also plays golf, tamed the course with an impressive low gross while Jane Finnie, whose husband also plays golf, had an even more impressive round with a handicap-busting net 62. A message was sent to MBS about the possibility of LIV for Ladies.
There were numerous sightings of what appeared to be a ghostly presence gliding amongst the trees and fairways. Turned out to be Jens and Shinta giving their hoverboard a workout.

PRESEDENTIAL ELECTION:

Progress Report: Three nominations have been received and each nominee has been sent a consent form to be a candidate. Once we have the consent forms we will create a ballot to be sent to eligible voters as per Articles 3.7, 4.5 and 4.9 of the Constitution.

PRESIDENTS REPORT:

The past few weeks see very limited attendance due mostly to courses having last minute changes. This has caused conflict in scheduling whit D.O.G.S moving into the Sunday space and a as a result many TS players being members of both groups play the D.O.G.S event.

The low attendance has reduced our income and combined with our generous prizes, our cash balance is heading “South”

CHAMPIONSHIP and FORMAL AWARDS NIGHT:

Early this week we announced that we would be joining D.O.G.S at Riverside for our mutual benefit and taking into account low numbers for both groups.
