The President was thankfully absent from last Sunday’s round at Riverside. Therefore sparing golfers his usual Riverside profanities as he hacks and chops his way around one of Jakarta’s more scenic layouts. There were storms afoot in Cipete that afternoon and hopefully players were spared a soggy stroll through the fairways of Riverside on the lovely banks of the Cikeas River, which from time to time floods Jakarta.
Riverside, due to its immense popularity saw us limited to just 7 flights, albeit, that we had booked weeks in advance, this may lead one to now realise why the World Cup was played at Jagorawi. Good to see the CIMB Niaga Golf club didn’t bother staying after their round leaving the club house to TeeSet and the restaurant surviving on TeeSet appetites alone. Anyway, there were the lucky few who graced the course last Sunday, and then there was the poor suffering President who was gracing a mate’s BBQ, fully laid on, they needed a gurney to get him out of there at the end of the night.
Gluttony, Irreverent behaviour, Sandbagging, and Cynicism seem to be the four culture pillars of the TeeSet President. I find these are important traits that guide my life, and I meditate on them every morning as part of my journey to reaching peak Sandbagging. Let’s hear it one more time, 4 more years.
Let’s get to the winners and other important news

JP finding a bit of form on the fairways of Riverside with a very nice 39 Stableford points. Come in Spinner.

A golfer who does not hack & chop his way around a golf course is Nicolas who tamed Riverside with 77 off the stick. 2 thumbs up to that one. I may need to add jealousy to my pillars 🙂

A man now frequenting the photo section more frequently, Bill with the first birdie. The golf lessons and golfing trip to Scotland are finally reaping you glorious financial rewards from TeeSet. Well done, mate, love the tan line, but..

Alessandro wins the best tan line from Bill by 4 shades. He also took first sandy par. Those calves need relief.

The master of the flat stick, Roger takes the low putts with a pretty impressive 27 taps.

New member : ANDREA SACCARELLO. Welcome to TeeSet
We will definitely be needing an Italian President with nearly 65% of the club being Italian or identifying as one.
