A firm favorite with many TeeSeters the Writer still has reservations as to the appeal of the course and often disparagingly refers to the course as Teletubbyland. Weather conditions were hot to start with but a swirling breeze arrived shortly after the start and caused havoc amongst some golfers. The Starter caused major havoc in Jens’s round when they placed a 5 ball in front of his group. The Starter is still alive.

This will be a brief post as I have had a pretty busy week and I am off on a business trip tomorrow.

The group I played in had the TeeSet new boy Mike Makino and he must have been very impressed with the various parts of the course that our teeshots visited and he soon joined in the slugfest. Luckily after a few holes something resembling golf started to be seen. With each player steadily improving as the game wore on.

Other new players and long time returnees were Elena Victoria and Tim Fehling who had the company of The TeeSet JIL Matchplay Captain, Sam. Sam is also a big fan of Imperial so they were in good company.

Max takes the lollies with a very impressive round nett 67, not sure what that is in Stableford Points. Well done Max.

Sam low gross with an excellent round of 75. He definitely mastered the blustery conditions.

23rd of November TeeSet Championship

With the championship just around the corner now is a great time to start fine tuning your game. I have taken on the services of Gavin Webb at AES Golf Studio in Kemang and I have shaved a few strokes off the handicap and should be raring to go come Saturday the 23rd.

The Championship is very competitively priced at Rp1,900,000. This includes your round of golf, heaps of adult beverages, a delicious buffet, evening music, goody bag and lucky draw, plus prizes for the winners and other stuff.
