Battle Royale Cup

Nirvana 1 Your committee recently had the pleasure of meeting with Tony Franco, Convener of the Par 5 Golf Society in Bali. The Par 5 Club has over 300 members drawn from local residents as well as frequent Bali visitors, and holds 3-4 regular society days across Bali each week.

It has been agreed that Tee Set and Par 5 members will enjoy reciprocal benefits.

Nirvana 2

In order to establish links between our two societies, we are proposing an inter-society golf match each year for the “Battle Royale” Cup, the venue this year being the wonderful Nirwana Course in Tanah Lot, Bali.

To go ahead Tee Set will need a team of a minimum of 12 players committed by the end of this month. Payment is required to secure your place.

Dates: Friday 22nd July to Sunday 24th July 2016

Location: Nirwana Golf Course

Match Program:

Saturday am: Four ball team match play 18 holes. Lunch on course.

Saturday pm: Foursomes (alternate shot team match play) for 9 holes then opposing teams join each other as fun 4 player scramble team for the second 9 holes. Followed by drinks and singles match play draw by captains.

Sunday am: Singles match play, followed by drinks and a buffet at the course.The Battle Royale Cup will be presented along with some fun prizes for the scramble winners and special categories.

Estimated costs per person (not including flights)

OK let’s try to make this simple:

Golfer rooming alone (inclusive of green fees) – 6m Rp

Golfer rooming twin share (inclusive of green fees) – 4.5m Rp

Non-golfer rooming twinshare – 3m Rp

These are based on accommodation on course at the Pan Pacific. A Golf Only Package will also be available if you prefer to stay off course – discuss with Roger (email above)

Group bus will depart Denpasar Airport for Nirwana at 6pm Friday and leave Nirwana at 5pm Sunday, so flights should be scheduled to match if you want to join the bus.
