Pondok Cabe, Sunday 1st December

IMG_0427The Day

The start of the new Tee Set season occurs the Sunday after the Championship so player results and statistics can be reset to zero. Also helps the chief cost controller to reconcile the accounts and clear outstanding beer bills.

The Tee Set 2014 season was kicked off today at the quaint Pondok Cabe course, under the stewardship of the immediate past President of Everything who it appears is still doing everything. We are assured that will change in 2014.

The Play

PrizesThe venue has been getting some serious positive raps of late from our web master who regularly sees it in its best condition during the week. Most of the day’s 20 players would agree on this, at least to a point, however, the greens were a bit bumpy prompting a comment from George Bevege that his putts looked good in the air. Nevertheless he shared low putts (30) with Mel Meeds and James Ross so one has to ask if they were actually that bad, George!

In 2013, Mel Cantarella managed to avoid the most skirts ratio (held jointly by Mike Webb and Shane Rawles with 0.4) by the finest of margins – and was determined to start the year with a statement that skirts were a thing of the past. Such was his confidence he even elected to play with the ex President of Everything to prove he would not be intimidated. Congratulations to Mel for becoming the first player to earn a skirt in 2014, witnessed by most of us waiting on tee box #1. Classic, it just doesn’t get any better then that!!

IMG_0435Joining Mel in the pink skirt this week were James (red wig) Ross, Craig (Indo Idol) Ewers, and Paul Evison who all failed to reach the red tee box at some stage during day. Craig was additionally punished for taking 10 strokes on a hole which was the highest score of the day but he turned out all square financially when awarded the most improved with a mammoth 11 strokes.

Paul Lowndes would have been fined for most putts if he hadn’t left early but then again 38 is hardly worthy of punishment anyway.

Entertainment value was provided by Chris Smith on the 9th tee box when his driver head went almost as far as his ball (see photo at top for evidence of this -and indeed PC’s new caddy recruitment policy). He swore black and blue that his clubs were not copies from you know where.

IMG_0441A seldom won prize award is First Eagle but Sam Westen managed to snag this rare bird on his last hole played. In so doing it brought his score to an even par 72 for the day and of course the lowest gross award. Awesome golf from Sombrero Sam. Nevertheless that double bogey on the 9th must have hurt a little bit and made you feel almost human.

Welcome to new player Damian Greenwood who enjoyed the day so much he’s already fully equipped himself with a Tee Set Championship shirt and cap. While stocks last, all new players in 2014 will be eligible to purchase both items at the bargain basement price for such fine gear of just Rp300K. Such benefits help to make the other Jakarta golf societies green with envy.

Welcome backs to Anlo du Pisani and Ed Helsing who we haven’t seen for a while.

One final observation of Pondok Cabe is that beer in a can is Rp45,000 while the same beer in a big bottle is Rp58,000. A lot of empty beer bottles were to be found around the course after play was over. Wise old birds, Tee Setters.

Full results here while a wider selection of photos from the day can be found here and we finally got around to putting up the Tee Set Championship photos here

Next Week

Back to our old base at Pangkalan Jati next Sunday, another very reasonably priced course in decent condition, when we will tee off from 1 and 10 at 11:30 as ever over there.

Later in the week we will reveal exactly what reasonable means, in the interim sign up for play here as usual.

See yah, Sunday!! ……. Tee Set

Next Up: Pondok Cabe, 1st December

Next Up

Pondok Cabe has seen a significant amount of investment and improvement over the past couple of years or so and, while not Premier League in an English football analogy, it is now firmly mid-first division .

This improvement combined with a pleasing management attitude – and reasonable beer prices, means that PC is now one of the Tee Set’s mainstay courses, one that we would expect to play somewhere between four and six times a year.

Conditions at the course right now are excellent and with our amazing Pawang Hujan having recently signed another contract extension, we expect to dodge the rain as ever.

Green fees of just 400,00 roops including cart – or a wallet-lite 325,000 if you want to walk this most friendly of walking courses, as many prefer to do. Tee off from 1 and 10 at 11:30 or maybe a tad earlier if history is any guide, so don’t be late,

As usual, let us know if you intend playing by filling in the usual here.

HOGS Charity Golf Day

before and afterA great opportunity to help poor Indonesian Kids born with cleft palate and cleft lip conditions as the Harley Owners Group (HOG) have a Charity Golf Day at Matoa on Saturday December 7th.

You have 2 choices of start time, from around 8am at the Kristal Hotel for a great breakfast, and extras, followed by a charabanc to the course leaving around 9.15 – or to go directly to the course, arriving no later than 10.30. Player fees for the entire day including lots of prizes and tinctures are 1 million roops.

The HOGS are the principal sponsors of a Charity Foundation that operates on up to 20 kids of those kids every month, releasing them from a world of misery, destitution and unemployability, and giving them a chance of a meaningful future.

The day itself is a 4 man Texas Scramble with guaranteed fun and novelty at every hole – and many Tee Setters are already signed  up – some of them are HOGS too; these HOGS are not of the “bite a chicken head off” variety!

So, if you haven’t already, then sign up here for a fun day and a chance to help Indonesia’s kids while you are at it.

See yah Sunday! …. Tee Set

Another Happy Birthday!!

A year ago today, the  25th November 2012, saw the very first post on the redeveloped Tee Set website.

We hope that it has been a worthwhile effort, improving communications and, in the modern parlance, “community building” and most importantly, getting people off their backsides on a Sunday and out and about enjoying themselves, and the company of others, on the great golf courses that Greater Jakarta has to offer!

At the time of posting, exactly one year later, we have 297 Tee Set “followers”, followers who have signed up to get an e-mail every time there is a new post on the site. Quite a feat considering that most of our number are subject to the joys of the daily “e-mail deluge” and don’t lightly take on more.

Since launch we have seen a total of 28,342 page views and an average of 39 unique visitors a day which, while unlikely to give Facebook any sleepless nights, is pretty good going for a community of our size, and means that we are indeed “keeping in touch”.

Lost ballOur biggest ever day was an April Fools posting about the Wi-Ball, a golf ball  which could never be lost, and which drew an audience of more than 400 viewers from around the world – and “orders” for more than 200 Wi-Balls 🙂

Talking about “around the world”, while we do of course get most of our visits from Indonesia, there are Tee Setters all over the world and they are well represented in our statistics for countries with 25 or more visits to the website which you will see from this recent chart.

Tee Set Championship 2013

Team photo
We are days later than we would have wished in relaying this report about the Tee Set Championship, however, sad to relate that while your scribe was enjoying the fun of probably the best Tee Set Championship day in history, his laptop was being hacked for the first time ever – after using the bloody things for more than 30 years. People who do this stuff have clearly not discovered golf or they would have something better to do on a Sunday.

Far more importantly, here is tell of some of the day that causes us to think this year’s Championship was a bit special and, helping to make it was so special of course were our gold sponsors Hot-Hed, Samson Tiara, International Paint Indonesia and Seascape Surveys while our Silver sponsors were Quest Geophysical and Fugro Indonesia. Other sponsors were Kojo, Star Deli Pub, Murphy’s Irish Pub, Mad Dogs Pub and PT Adi Warna Pratama. Thanks once again to you all; without you this great event just would not happen.

We had imagined that an opening registration time of 05:30 would be too much of a challenge for most so we were amazed by just how many people were already there before then – and already looking for their Tee Set Championship shirts!!

93 players in the end after a number of withdrawals for all the usual reasons in the last few days – offset somewhat by a few optimists turning up on spec – and with all this keeping our flight pairings master busy and on his toes.

They say in Ireland that the secret of a good election is voting early – and voting often, and between registering, downing Bloody Marys and Margaritas, and breakfasting on the breakfast of champions, Nasi Goreng, 54 Tee Setters exercised their democratic right by voting for their candidate of choice as Tee Set President 2013/2014 – and as far as we could see voting only once in fact as we had a system in place.

We are also happy to relate that neither candidate was spotted flashing brown envelopes as is the tradition closer to us here in our adopted home.

54 voters was a pretty good turnout for the election as there were just 83 Tee Setters who had played 8 times or more since the last Championship, the cutoff for getting a vote – especially as half a dozen or more of them had left the country before this years Championship!

With the Hot-Hed hotdog stand parked strategically outside the clubhouse, drinks carts criss-crossing the course delivering Jack Calcote’s inimitable yellow aiming fluid (aka Smoothies) and much else, perfect scoring conditions in perfect weather and everyone in festive mood, the play itself was significantly above average and with many busting their handicaps – and some by a lot!!!

After the round, a fine lunch was immediately available and provided by the club, supplemented by the usual excellent Tucker Box yabbies, delectable mini pies baked by Cecilia’s Café on Jl Ampera – and all topped off by Jesse Baker’s superb chili beans deluxe. With Mike Garwood away looking after sheep issues in New Zealand – and having refused to leave behind his Chili Beans recipe, Jesse’s fine contribution was particularly welcome.

Before the start of the prize giving itself, long time Tee Setter Anthony King took the opportunity to say a few words about that rock of the Jakarta golfing scene, Matt Harter, who had passed away two days previously, just hours after reaching his home town in Colorado. Matt’s brother Peter had overseen his medical care in Singapore for the past 9 months and accompanied him on the long haul home. Anthony reminded us all of the massive contribution that Matt had made to golf in his long association with Indonesia, having pivotal roles in the Interleague, the Bali Classic, the Tee Set itself and much else besides. Matt was a big man in every sense.

With so many of Matt’s friends present there was more than the odd tear in the eye as we raised glasses to show our respect to a fine man taken before his time. RIP Matt Harter, you will be greatly missed by so many.

The President of Everything, with his 15 minutes of fame ahead of him, recapped an eventful year for the Tee Set, not least the fun of the Bandung Bash, the success of the 30th Anniversary event, the resurgence of the Tee Set Interleague team that made it to fourth place this year and with most valuable player Sam Western winning every one of his 5 matches – before finally getting around to a prize giving which was more extensive than ever before with Nenden Fleischmann taking top honours with the Tee Set Championship, closely followed by David Shenman in the runner up spot. Well done both.

The match play competition was overseen throughout the year by Jesse Baker and the final match was played on time between Matt Fairey and Alistair Livingstone with Matt prevailing 1 up. Terrific match that went all the way to the wire. Congratulations to both players on their efforts and indeed the fine spirit that the game was to be played in.

This year. and for the first time, your committee decided that superior performance over the entire season should see some reward also, and three new categories duly appear on the remaining prize list.

Tee Set Championship
Low Gross – A Division, Sam Westen
Low Gross – B Division, Peter Reichlmeier
Low Gross – C Division, Jan Jelinek
Low Putts – Nurey Puzey
Longest Drive – Ladies, Santi Miller
Longest Drive – Men, Mo Maharam
Nearest to the Pin, Bob Fleischmann
1st Par HC>=30, Cate McCosker
1st Birdie, Chris Smith
1st Sandy, Harold Hayne

Best over the season
Best Gross, Joseph Peries
Best Nett, Sam Westen
Most Played, Evaldo Roos

Congratulations to them all!!

We are unable to give you the usual player by player detail this week as Mr Hacker’s activities included screwing up your scribe’s Microsoft Office to the extent that it is now rather less useful than a dead parrot. A very dead parrot.

As his last act, the President of Everything then announced that, following the counting of votes by the only two sober Tee Setter’s still present, his successor, the new President, would be Peter Reichlmeier.

Peter then thanked Ric for his enormous contribution over the years, a contribution that had brought his beloved Tee Set to its current extremely healthy (and marginally solvent after today!) position.

Special thanks from Peter also to the many Tee Setters who had put in so much hard work to make the day a great success, Santi Miller for trophies, Octa for Matoa duties, Tuti and Wulan for manning the drinks carts, Brenda and Tuti Kidd for the scoring, and Jamail and friend for bar duties and finally himself for shirts and caps. Ben Kidd was given a regulation spray for stealing Tuti, our secretary, but all is forgiven now that equally beautiful Brenda has taken over the secretarial duties. If we missed anyone then please forgive us.

In a populist move designed to reinforce his good standing with the ever bribeable Tee Setters, the new President then conducted a draw of the scorecards from a hat that looked more like a fish tank, when, courtesy of Jesse Baker, Evaldo Roos and Peter Reichlmeier, 20 or more bottles of the stuff designed to give you a headache went to the lucky winners. Personal observation suggests that not too many of those prizes made it out of the door.

Peter went on to say how delighted he was to accept the Presidency – but that as a busy chap he had only been able to accept the honour due to the strength of the backing he would be relying on, and been promised, from all the Usual Suspects, including his predecessor. Ric laughed but didn’t argue.

The Band from Bandung then struck up and were to be joined by a long succession of Tee Setters keen to exercise their by now well lubricated vocal chords. A difficult call but the general consensus was that Craig Ewers won the prize for best amateur. Unfortunately there is no such prize, Craig, but we will definitely have one next year if it is any consolation:-)

It is also clear that the band from Bandung is now firmly in the Championship Day schedule, as long as that chick remains the lead singer.

Amazingly the day did not finish for a small but dedicated group of 5 diehards until they filed out as one at sunset to take on the 10th and 11th holes one more time, with only Matoa waitress Renny as caddy for all, nevertheless the unbelievable happened and some decent shots were played to round out a brilliant day.

It almost goes without saying that the immediate past President of Everything was one of five and indeed the last to leave for home.

Next Week

Well, after all that excitement it is now back to the bread and butter – the usual Tee Set Sunday at Pondok Cabe – and at the rather less challenging starting time of 11:30 from tee boxes 1 and 10. Green Fees of 400,00 including cart – or just 325,000 if you want to walk this most friendly of walking courses as many prefer to do.

On your behalf and at very little expense, a small but dedicated group of Tee Set Midweekers tested the Pondok Cabe course on Tuesday, and found it in far superior condition to that which we found at Matoa; it certainly offers a great combination of good conditions and attractive green fees these days .

As usual, let us know if you intend playing by filling in the usual here.

See yah Sunday! ….. Tee Set

PS currently unable to upload more than one of the hundreds of photos taken of the day. These will be put up when the situation is restored to some semblance of normality.

Matt Harter RIP

A terribly sad message received yesterday from Peter Harter, Matt’s Brother.

Matt was a tremendous supporter of golf here in Jakarta, and a great friend to Tee Set and very, very many Tee Setters.

Dear Friends,  Matthew passed away early this morning.  He was very peaceful and seemed in no pain.  It just seemed to be time.

He and I made the journey from Singapore to Colorado on Nov. 21.   Matthew seemed to handle it well, but it was a long, draining trip as you all know.  We had very good medical assistance throughout the trip and could not have asked for better care.

I have lost my collection of business cards that we tried to collect, so I know I have not included a lot of dear friends in sharing this difficult news.  I apologize.  Please share with those that I have left off.

Throughout these past 9 months, it became very obvious why Matthew loved his work and play in SE Asia–it was you, his friends.

Thank you for the love, the care, and the concern you poured out to him and for sharing in his life.  We got to see that first-hand and we will never forget it.  On behalf of our family, we are forever grateful.

May God bless you all.  Pete Harter

Next up: The 2013 Tee Set Championship!!

Feels like  a year since we had our last Tee Set Championship, so time for another one on Sunday of course, when the schedule for the day will be as follows:

05:30 Registration Starts

05:35 Breakfast and Bloody Marys

06:30 Team photo at the front of the clubhouse

(please note that the wearing of the new Tee Set shirt is compulsory)

06:40 Get to your starting tee box

07:00 Shotgun Start

12:00 Margaritas, beers and lunch

13:00 Prize giving

13:25 Announcement of the new President

13:30 The Band from Bandung begins to play

As you will see, and in something of an unwelcome development, Matoa is insisting that we have our shotgun start at 7am rather than thirty minutes later as previously planned – which means that some of you will have to get up before you go to bed. No worries, Tee Setters are made of sterner stuff.

Players, Flights and starting holes will be prominently displayed in the clubhouse so check them out as soon as you are registered.

A reminder that the charge payable upon registration is 950,000 roops or 800,000 if you have either played 5 or more times since the last Tee Set Championship or are occupying a sponsor berth.

We have seen the usual late rush of cancellations due to weddings, funerals and business travel – and now have 6 slots available to be taken for Sunday, so if you have any mates who would like to join in the fun, then let us know!

ElektaPrezAs well as receiving your Tee Set Championship shirt and goody bag on registration you will,  if you have played 8 or more times since the last Championship, also be given a voting slip with the two candidates names on.

Simply circle your candidate of choice and place it in the distinctive green and white box being modeled here by Santi Miller, who also did an exceptional job of hiding the nature of its original contents – Super Mie!!

The new President of Everything will be announced immediately after prize giving.

See yah there bright and early on Sunday!!! … Tee Set

Jagorawi Interleague Scramble, 17th November 2013

Jags

A delightful reminder for some long absent Tee Setters about just how scenic Jags is …

An excellent day for the 31 Tee Setters who joined in the fun of the Interleague 4 man Scramble and Prize giving at the delightful Jags Golf and Country Club.

Boosted a little by being the only five man team in the field, Tee Set in the shape of Newcomers Corrie and Simon Lawton from South Africa, aided and abetted by Craig Ewers, Sofree Abdul and Dan Richards, went 11 under off the stick to take the Low Gross award – well done them!! Continue reading

Jagorawi, Sunday 17th November

DCF 1.0After the wide open and inviting fairway expanses of Bumi Serpong Damai last Sunday, we move on to the rather more intimidatingly narrow and jungle fringed torture provided by the Jagorawi Golf and Country Club!!

Yes, it’s the annual Interleague prize giving and 4-man Texas Scramble event once again, and a lot of fun it promises to be, not least because your team needs only need one good drive out of four to continue on bloodied but unbowed 🙂

Tee Set already has a number of teams participating as follows:

Scramble teamsThere is plenty of room for more players and teams so send an e-mail to Keith if you want to put in an entire team or, as most have done, just register in the usual way and we will put you into one!

A relatively benign special concessionary rate for the day of 800,000 roops at Jags, including shared cart, while Tee Set will not be demanding its usual 100,000 – quite the contrary, we will be awarding four bottles of Australia’s finest to the highest finishing Tee Set Team!

A shotgun start at 12:30 portends a quick round – but don’t be late whatever you do.

Drinks, BBQ and the distinct possibility of a band, so don’t miss what will undoubtedly be a great afternoon – when you should even be able to laugh at the jungle for once.  You will also have the opportunity to say farewell to  frequent Tee Set Interleague player Tim Davies’ last appearance as he is shortly returning to Oz.

A busy weekend just gone on the Tee Set Matchplay means that we are in danger of seeing the final played on the day of the Tee Set Championship itself, though to achieve that needs two matches to be played with only one Sunday left, with the winner of Joseph “Punisher” Peries and Fernando “El Guapo” Gaggino playing for the honour against the long waiting Alistair Livingston in the Kuningan Bracket final.

Finally, we have agreed to provide a monthly update of Tee Set “doings” to the Golf Indonesia magazine and our first contribution can be found on page 14 of this document which tells of a busy October for Jakarta’s favourite Golf Society.

See yah, Sunday! …. Tee Set

Bumi Serpong Damai

watery par 3The Day

We are pleased to report that Simon Reynolds can breathe again as Bumi Serpong Damai was to prove an awesome course in peerless condition on a day virtually untroubled by rain. The greens just amazing, in beautiful condition and playing just fast enough; and with enough undulations to lend credence to the President of Everything’s theory that course designer Jack Nicklaus has buried elephants under every green.

Supplementing the course’s perfection was that the Serpong Tol was to be a joy both ways – and the usual Jagorawi Tol snarl-ups just an unpleasant memory, for now at least.

Add in very cute caddies, magnificent changing room facilities including sauna and Jacuzzi, and a start 20 minutes earlier than advertised – and you can understand why there was significant bar talk after the round about how we can increase our exposure to the place! Be assured that your committee is working on this.

Just one downside, the F&B was on the expensive side and their system apparently incapable of accumulating one bill per person for settlement when all was done, instead demanding cash settlement for every single transaction. Even a moderate consumer’s counting fingers could get very tired after all that.

Five Newcomers to report this week, so a warm Tee Set welcome to them all, though it would be fair to warn that the Tee Set’s chosen courses aren’t always quite as good as today’s.

A goodly showing of Welcome Backs also, most notably RJ Kilner who hadn’t played with us for a couple of years and it showed as he got a skirt with his very first swing of the day, and also managed to get Most Strokes with an 11 on the very same hole. Welcome back RJ!!

The Play

Prizes

SamThe undoubted highlight of the day was an out of this world 5 under par 31 on the back nine from Sam Westen, including four birdies in a row to finish  40-31-71!

Well done Sam and it hardly goes without saying that you got Low Gross. Sam would also have got Low Net and Low Putts also but nobody gets more than one prize around here so Low Net went to George Bevege with a 74 while Craig Binks took Low Putts – and in common with a number of other prize winners was OB when the time came around to hand out the prizes.

This also makes the Treasurer very happy of course – and he was to declare the Tee Set kitty for the upcoming Championship fully funded!

Keith

Keith Miller and Chris Smith were lucky to get their birdies in early before the Westen birdie blitz to share 1st Birdie while Alastair Livingston took first Sandy and Mark Kilner was to take 9 holes to shake off the rust from a break period in finishing with an extraordinary 55-41-96 to take Most Improved.

You should play more often Mark.

A course that gave significant distance advantage to the Ladies was also to advantage Tee Set funds by bringing home a bumper crop of skirts with 6 players failing to bridge the gap today; three of them Newcomers. Way to go, guys 🙂

skirt winners

More detailed, player by player results can be found here.

More photos of the day here

Matchplay

In the Tee Set Matchplay, Fernando Gaggino beat Bob Fleishmann 2 and 1 to earn himself the right to play Joseph Peries in the Kuningan Bracket semi-final, while Matt Fairey beat Wina Nugroho one up at Matoa to progress to the Matchplay Final itself on Tee Set Championship Day. In  that Final, Matt will play the winner of the Alistair Livingston/Peries or Gaggino Emas Bracket Final. Got that?

Yayasan HOG Charity Golf Tournament

A reminder that the above takes place on Saturday 7th December. We already have 6 Tee Setters registered for the event but would like to see even more support an organisation that provides life changing help to Indonesian kids born with cleft lip and cleft palate conditions. Take a look and sign up here for a day of fun – and the knowledge that your participation will directly change a youngster’s life.

Next Week

The Interleague boys have upped their performance this season and left last year’s wooden spoon fiasco well behind and we can surely, with all  the new talent we have, look forward with some optimism to challenging for the very top next year.

In the interim there is the traditional end of season scramble and prize giving to look forward to next Sunday at Jagorawi – when stuffing one in the jungle, not the most difficult of task at Jags, really doesn’t matter nearly as much as usual when you have three mates to give it a go too 🙂

Either send Keith an e-mail with your full team of four – or just register in the usual way here and we will sort you out into a nice compatible team.

Shotgun start at 12:30 and with green fees at a concessionary 800,000 roops for a fun day of golf on a very fine course with BBQ and drinks afterwards, no Tee Set fees – and a bottle of wine for each member of the highest finishing Tee Set team – so don’t miss it!

See yah Sunday! … Tee Set

Next up: Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD)

bsdAn earlier than usual reminder this week as our course of choice tells us that they must have a player list by Thursday.

The exclusive Bumi Serpong Dami (BSD) course is unknown to all but a few Tee Setters. Designed by a chap going by the name of Jack Nicklaus, BSD is alleged to be a top class course by those who have actually played it. Thanks to the efforts of Simon Reynolds, the Tee Set will be giving it the once over next Sunday at a relatively benign rate – and it had better be right up there, or the Tee Set Trades Descriptions Act boys will be paying you a visit soon, Simon!

As it is the first time we have ever played the course, a Google map is appropriate

Hang a right at the end of the Serpong Tol and take a left for the club when signposted a few kilometers later is probably direction enough for Jakarta veterans.

Green Fees of 880,000 roops etc including shared cart, and a tee off from 1 and 10 at 11:35. Don’t be late as we may even get an early flyer like last week – and should hate to leave you behind in the clubhouse.

You really must register here as soon as possible as the club is posh and demands names and numbers in advance – so please do use the spittoons, and give us your commitment by lunchtime Thursday if you haven’t already. We will reserve a few extra places of course but registering later does rather put you in the hands of the Gods;, so no tears if you lose out.

The supplementary order for those fantastic Tee Set 30th Anniversary shirts is out of customs – and is being delivered to Tee Set on Wednesday, so you can plan to get them at BSD on Sunday; 250,000 roops a pop for the many who haven’t paid yet. There are just 13 spares, without name embroidering and in a variety of sizes, so grab this great chance while you can at 250,000 roops also.

A heads up that Sunday the 17th November will see us all together at Jagorawi once again for the end of Interleague season scramble, an occasion which promises to be a lot of fun as not only does being 5 degrees off course with a drive mean very little in scramble format, but they have also sensibly reduced their green fees  etc, including shared cart, to just 800,000 roops for the day, with a 12:30 scramble start.

You can already register for the day at the usual place by selecting Jags on the drop-down menu. If you want to register a full team then use the comment box for that, otherwise just register yourself and we will organise you into a team.

The fees mentioned include shared cart and, more importantly include the end of season Interleague prizes giving which means a BBQ, plenty of drinks and maybe even a band, Those of you who supported the Septuagenarian Geoff Thwaites’ birthday will know just how much fun that particularly toxic mix can be 🙂

See yah, Sunday! … Tee Set
