Sunday sees us at the lovely Padang Golf Modern where we have a late tee time of 12:52 and green fees etc of  650,000 roops including cart.

We were booked some time ago at 11:00, however, they “lost’ the booking and tried to charge us 850,000 for rebooking with the later start. We were unable to recover the earlier tee time but they relented on the green fees after being shown some earlier correspondence.

The limited places available for the following week at the very special Royale Jakarta on Sunday 14th July are going fast, so if you have not yet booked then make sure of a seat now by making another trip to “Yes, I’m playing!”

2013 Tee Set Matchplay

There is a new kid on the golf magazine blok – and produced by the same outfit that puts out the Jakarta Expat – and in a similar format.

A nice little read we have to say and the latest edition includes a long piece written by the acting Tee Set President of everything. They tell me they have a print run of some 15,000 copies for every edition as well as an online presence, so we might expect to see a few more new faces in the near future!
