Sunday sees the usual end of month return to our home in the Undying Lands in the West at the Imperial Golf Klub where we will all be playing for the March Monthly Medal and the 3rd (?) round of the 3rd Eclectic cycle, though as if that were not enough, it is shaping up to be a pretty busy day also for Tee Set Matchplay with five matches already set up.
Our newly appointed Monthly Medal Supremo, Pastis Pascal, has spent no little time tidying up the historical data etc for both competitions and the links in the paragraph above lead to a rich source of information and data on the course itself and both competitions. Well worth a visit, many thanks, Pastis!!!
A first tee time of 11:48 from tee boxes 1 and 10 and with reasonable green fees of 770,00 for the splendid course and facilities we should be in for a great day so, if you haven’t already, then sign up here to join in the fun.
International Schools Golf Tournament
A cry for help has been received from former Tee Set President Dave Tarcy.
Dave is looking for some honest upstanding golfers to help marshall the above event at Jags on Thursday 7th April until Saturday 9th April inclusive and, naturally enough, turned to Tee Set 🙂

If you can help on one or more days then please urgently contact Dave who will put you fully in the picture.
It hardly goes without saying that your reward will largely be in heaven for helping in what should be a tremendous experience for all those junior golfers, however, Dave has promised some free mid-week play vouchers for Jags to ensure you experience some of the same torture as the kids!!

Hi Mark,
Correct the results are still the ones after round 1 in January, we are still trying to get the ones after round 2 and will post them as soon as we get them! Sorry about the delay!
Dear Tee Setters. The results of Eclectic Cycle 3 after Round 3 have just been posted on the Tee Set Eclectic page, however the process has been greatly complicated by mistakes made by the players on their Monthly Medal score cards, so we ask you in the future to please pay extra attention when filling them and have them reviewed by your playing partner(s) before turning them in.
Dear Mark, to answer your suggestion last Sunday to input the gross scores for the Eclectic, one reason we can’t is that the players handicaps can change from round to round, so we have to input the net scores.
