Tee Set celebrates its birthday every year. As you pick yourself off the ground stunned by the depth of the insight that goes behind that statement, our 34th birthday is of course on Sunday and is most definitely not to be missed – if only for your chance to discover just what a delight eating a slice of the magnificent green themed Hotel Luwansa Tee Set birthday cake is!!

We have 12 3/4 teams already signed up for the fun on Sunday so if you are not yet amongst their number then join in here, either individually, or as a team by utilising the comments field . If registering a team then do let us know the team name you would like to fly under – the dafter the better.

The Schedule

Nothing too complicated about the schedule for the day but do please note in particular that Hot-Hed’s famous Hot Dogs will be available from 10:00 and that we will be having the group photo in front of the clubhouse, and under the special event banner as usual – at 11am so please don’t miss your chance at immortality.

Happily we will have a shotgun start off 6 holes so we should all finish around the same time(ish.)

Can we encourage all to wear the oldest Tee Set shirt you can find in your cupboard on the day? HOGS welcome to wear their own, erm, distinctive gear of course, leather always welcome!

Brenda will be travelling around the course during play, taking photos and giving out AsiaServ Indonesia‘s oh-so-refreshing smoothies, so please make her extra-specially welcome 🙂

Novelty holes

As mentioned previously, our 34th birthday event is intended, as always, to provide us with a chance to let our hair down and have a lot of fun with as many friends, family and fellow Tee Setters as possible.

If you have been paying attention you will not be surprised therefore to learn that we have 5 “novelty” holes planned for our Texas Scramble round and they follow, though first of all, and to your right, there is small clue for those who have never played Tee Set Birthday Scramble before – this is what “the Brenda” looks like. Both of them.

After some years of service she is looking a little faded – the one on the right that is, not the one on the left, that one is looking just as fresh as ever!

Scorecard

Not the usual one this week but rather one specially tailored for the event – this is what you will be filling in on Sunday.

A handicap list will be available to help you complete the card before play and, if you ask her nicely, then Brenda will probably lend you her calculator if you are unable to divide by six.

On the back of the scorecard will be some rules – please feel free to both ignore them and argue about them.

Prizes

Finally, we will be having even more startlingly generous prizes than usual on Sunday and, with many of them able to be administered by mouth, please don’t be shy, corkscrews will be available.
