As previously announced, we have decided to make this year’s World Cup a 1 day competition due to other events being held over the week-end. We will be playing at Cengkareng and there will be team prizes for the Best Net and Best Net runner-up as well as a Best Gross prize. Scores for each team will be counted (net or gross as applicable) based on the best 3 players scores from 4 players in the team on a hole by hole basis. The overall trophy will go to the Best Net winner.
As usual, Teams will be made up of 4 players who will be connected by their nationalities and we hope to see many teams out there seeking to wrestle the trophy off the Indonesian ladies who have won it for the last 2 years.
So far we have 9 teams and several singles signed up or confirmed so it is looking like a busy and fun day out; so please submit your registrations as soon as possible.

Sunday’s round is also a normal Tee Set round so even if you have not got a team, please come and join us by signing up here. We will pair you up into teams so that everyone can join in the fun.
Whisky Tasting Event 19th October 2018
The Java St Andrew’s Society will be holding its annual whisky tasting event on October 19th 2018 at Kinara Lounge, 2/F Dungeon in Kemang.In addition to being a fun evening out with an Indian buffet to be washed down by free flow beers or Sangria, the event is an opportunity for you to show your knowledge of fine Scottish Single Malts in a blind tasting competition. The winner of the blind tasting will take home a bottle of the rare 90/27, one of the Chieftain’s personal favourites.

The annual Pink Golf Day in support of breast cancer, to be held on 24th October, is selling out fast so any one wishing to join should sign up quickly.
The ever popular and notorious Star Deli tournament is now open for registrations so if you are interested please sign up. Date is Saturday 3rd November at Matoa and the proceeds go to support the worthy HOGs charity efforts.
