Xmas Charity Drive: Lombok and Palu
Whilst the initial news has passed and many valuable contributions have been made to support the main relief efforts, news from families of Tee Setters with direct connections to these 2 locations report that there are many people who have lost all of their belongings and are therefore short of some basic necessities including clothing.
Therefore, under the initiative of Santi Miller, we would like to ask you to go through your wardrobes and find any serviceable old clothes and bedding which you would be happy to donate. Be conscious of what would be practical given the environment – no high heels for example – but otherwise all donations are welcome. We are asking for both adult and children’s clothing plus bedding but not food, toys etc…
Donations can be brought the Tee Set events to be held over the next 3 weeks (BSD, Cengkareng & Riverside) and passed to Santi or Roger Finnie. If you wish to donate but cannot make these events then please contact Roger, Santi or Keith Miller and we will give you an address where they can be sent to be added to those collected on each of the next 3 Sundays.
Santi and Jane will be going through all the donations and creating shipments to be donated to families in both Lombok and Palu for the New Year. Thank you in advance for all your donations to support these worthy efforts.

Ever popular and held globally where-ever the Scottish diaspora are located, is the traditional annual tribute to Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns.
Organized on the anniversary of his birth each year since 1801, the Burns Supper celebrates his poetry and writings by encapsulating his works into an evening of speeches, whisky and fine food.
President Roger Finnie and VP Bill Lloyd are looking to book a couple of tables and any Tee Setters interested to attend can contact them to join the booking. Rp1.35j a head on a full table of 10 before 31st December so please sign up early.
