After many years of service to Tee Set we wish Ric all the best for his future and he will be memorialised in the Tee Set Match Play by the trophy in his name.

Sandra Novita (HC-32) scored a birdie! Way to go, Sandra, may there be many more.

With a no-cart rule in effect after the late morning rain all the ladies – Riahanna, Juju, Cucu, Sandra, Christine – completed 18 holes walking. And played very well! Riahanna tied for low net, Sandra (see above), Cucu in with 95 and several prizes. Juju a bit above HC but with 8 pars and some near-birdies.

Welcome back the charismatic, Bill Lloyd. Good to see you repatriated to golfing paradise!

We were pleased to host a VIP guest HE Nazar Al Said, Sultanate of Oman ambassador to Indonesia. He teed off with our President and displayed considerable skill with that little white ball on the wet course. We thank him for his short speech thanking us for our hospitality and he looks forward to playing with us again.

That was game 2032 without a weekend missed since 1983. After all the covid drama, Tee Set has come back bigger and better and its great to see all the smiling faces. I look forward to seeing you all next Sunday 6 March at Modern GCC. Regards Geoff
