TeeSet went out to celebrate Hari Merdeka last Sunday in what will hopefully become an annual event at Jogorawi where we play the dreaded Z-9 off the Red & White tees in a 2 person scramble. The event organised and sponsored by Jens & Shinta is a wonderful day and the players all had a great day with most staying untill closing at Jagorawi to take advantage of the beers put on by our sponsors. Free beer is always popular amongst golfers.

The Z-9 is a tricky course and I found my strategy of hitting long into the bush and shaving holes all over the place is not a winning strategy. Next year I will leave the close shaves to the Brazilians. The course was tamed by quite a few of the pairings who avoided the above, so lets get to the winners.

The Winners

The event winners were Jane and Roger with a score in the low 60s. Well done, no shaving of holes on the greens by this twosome.

Shinta and Jens were close behind also finding the Z – 9 tamable.
