Let’s go back in time to a far off golf course known these days as the Manor. T’was on a Sunday at the end of May over another long weekend that Indonesia is famous for that 28 of TeeSet’s finest gathered to contest the Kojo Monthly Medal.

Hard negotiations with the Manor management preceded this day as the Manor attempted to enforce a minimum number of 30 players to receive out TeeSet discount. This is very hard to achieve over a long weekend and attendance is not compulsory but firm negotiations by Adhe on the committee’s behalf resulted in prices not changing. TeeSet are able to get reasonable Sunday prices as we offer a large group that will eat and drink at the course. Skipping Sundays is fine, if prices go up due to falling numbers you now know why.

On to the game it was a ding dong battle for the Medal with Stan being the golfer that best mastered the conditions offered at the Manor on that Sunday

Stan beat his wife which is normally not a good thing unless it occurs on the golf course and strict R&A guidelines.

The TeeSet crew went back to the Bull n Vine for the medal presentation and many stayed late to take advantage of the Pancasila Holiday on Monday. Thanks a lot to Bulln Vine for hosting and once again doing an outstanding job in hosting TeeSet. A great place to have a mid week drink and feed.

The World Cup of Golf Riverside

TeeSet’s annual teams event may have seen a smaller turn out than in previous years but the competitive buzz was found in the room as teams marked out their space and got their banter going. Things were looking decidedly bad for perennial favorites and perennial underperformers, the Alive & Kicking team, as a water fight broke out between two members. The other teams seemed a bit lovey dovey. There were some well presented teams and some not so well presented teams, that had golf not fashion on their mind.

We are missing a photo of the low gross winners the Kilted Warriors consisting of Roger, Phil, Doug & Steve but we do have a photo of a better presented team. Well done on the low gross win.
