A relatively (and thankfully) early Tee Set return to the wonderful Rancamaya course outside Bogor next Sunday thanks, as ever, to longtime Tee Setter Juergen Degert who is a member there – and lives in a house at the side of the course – lucky bastard.
Tee off from teeboxes 1 and 9 will be at mid-day when we expect another bumper turnout from Tee Setters – including many for whom this is their favourite course.
Their number will not unfortunately include Dan Brod for whom Sunday is the day he moves to KL – we feel your pain, Dan, and will raise a glass to you as we relax on the terrace after the round and admire the mountain.
Green fees including shared cart is a modest 550,000 roops.
Clicking here will take you to the report from the first day of the Interleague season where Tee Set gets rather more coverage than usual – and not only for its golf!
See ya, Sunday!
PS So far, only two Tee Setters have expressed an interest in taking the Big Bird to the course (and back) from Kemang on Sunday, we need more to make it work – so do let Tuti know urgently if you would like to join the charabanc.
PPS your favourite organ has been informed that Mike Garwood actually cooked the chilli beans by himself in the kitchen at Giri Gahana last Saturday night – no maid involved; well done Mike, they were excellent!!
PPS rather slow progress to date in the Tee Set Matchplay, however, quite an an encouraging number of games are already arranged for Sunday at Rancamaya …. here are the results to date
PPPS Finally, we are very happy to help the Harley Owners Group here in Jakarta by bringing to your attention their HOGFEST 2013. The HOGs do some amazing work for kids here in Indonesia and in particular have transformed the life prospects for so many poor Indonesian kids with hare-lip. They deserve our support.
