Next up, Jagorawi New Course, 20th July 2014

It’s that time of the month again. a time when the Interleague Golf Societies meet up to do battle on the fairways and greens of the Jagorawi New Course. No morning tournaments scheduled during Ramadhan so the place will be quiet and 11 tee boxes will be made available for the mini shot-gun start.

After being nudged out on the 18th green by the top ranked Cloggies last month, Tee Set must now front up against the second placed Sandbaggers this Sunday.

We gladly welcome back our Interleague Captain, Peter Rancamaya, who has put his day job on the back burner this week to focus on what’s required to build the strategy to return Tee Set to the winners circle.

With 3 rounds remaining and 30 points up for grabs, Tee Set is still in the picture for a top three finish or better. Sombrero Sam and Simon the Hack are both in form and have a point to prove after being pipped on their last two match plays. Evergreen Geoff T could even move into the singles match based on his current form and Neil M also after 4 birdies last week at Riverside.

Tee off is 09:30 for Interleague but with the course being quiet the Tee Set stroke play group will also get involved in the shot-gun start from tee boxes #1, # 17 and #18, so don’t be late.

All comers are welcome so don’t miss this opportunity to experience one of the premier courses in Jakarta. Green fees, including shared cart, will be Rp955K and there will be cheap draft San Miguel beer on tap in the club house rooms after the game for those who don’t leave thirst on the Jags fairways.

Sign up for here for Jags so that we get the numbers about right.

See ya Sunday, Tee Set
