April’s Monthly Medal winner, Tim, receiving the medal from Kojo Medal sponsor Geoff. Medal put to work later in the day as a ball marker.
Things we learnt last Sunday. 12.40 starts dont work. As the world rotates around the sun there is a time of the year when golfers need to play faster. We are now in that time of the year. Sunset is before 6 and it is dark by 6 so we need to think of those behind us and get a wriggle on. Tee off after the group in front has played there 2nd shot, not start moving to the Tee Box. Be ready to play.
The Committee will try and ensure that all games in this lack of light time will be scheduled to as close to 12pm as possible but we also need TeeSetters to maintain a good pace of play. A fast round is a glorious round and allows more time for the warm down over a jug of Margaritas or 5.
To the Podium

Low gross goes to Matt with a 76. First Eagle to Richard on the 10th. Most Stableford points was Dean with a score of 42. Well done boys
TeeSet could have well lost the entire club funds today as the missed Eagles nearly hit double figures. Axel was unlucky shaving the hole on the 5th to miss by a centimetre or 2. Pras missed one here also. Dean missed 2. One after driving the green on the Par 4 11th. He needs to work on his putting with 38 putts. A round that could have finished in the 70s.
Tigaraksa Sunday 12pm Rp 965.5K Shared Cart
This Sunday we play a great course. The greens are all maintained by sponsorship from Japanese companies and are amongst the best in the land. Friendly price for a Sunday. The food is good and the beer price very competative compared to other clubs. Did I mention ample parking? Well there is.
A few TeeSetters seem to think it is a long way from home well it is about the same as Kedaton but better beer prices. A great Tee Time so get on to MyGOlf2U and sign up and show support for TeeSet.
World Cup of Golf, June 7 Riverside
Teeams are forming we have the Glorious Australians with 2 teams, certainties to be on the Podium. The Japanese, Americans, Filipinos and South Africans have teams, as do the Indonesians and Brits, amongst the teams less likely to make it to the Podium. Get a Team together and see if you have what it takes to match the Aussies on the Field of Battle. Also prizes for best dressed Teams.
If you want to play but don’t have the time to organise a Team let us know and we will put you in an United Nations team.
TeeSet Matchplay Championship
We are now into the Sudden Death part of the competition. We would like to have the first round finished by end of June and we would like to see these games played on TeeSet Sundays.
Time to get back to work see you this Sunday for what will be your best game of the week.
