Riverside, Sunday 2nd April 2017

The Day

It was a pretty dire day at Riverside yesterday, as of the 35 Tee Setters who showed up only 14 managed to play 9 holes, and in some cases a couple more before the course was basically shut down for bad weather, and only our fierce Wina managed to complete 18 holes by ignoring the sirens and marshals. On the bright side, those who gave up in time were granted a rain check by Riverside.

We had 3 Newcomers this week: Dhitpong Viraikorn, Fred Khoo and Gaurav Dass, to whom we wish a warm Tee Set welcome and hope they understand they picked the worst day for their first round with us and will come back soon to enjoy a full and better day.

We also had a few Welcome Backs, but really only one worth mentioning, the return of Lucas Sheard after 136 weeks, yes almost 3 years!

The Play

On a very rare occasion, since the results were too incomplete, no prizes were awarded on the day so the contributions will instead help finance our special events like the Championship.

Tee Set Match Play competition

As yesterday was the last day for the participants to complete their warm-up round, the ones that played it at Riverside had to resort to alternative deciders like coin toss(es), so for more details on the results as well as the second round match-ups that must be completed by May 14 please consult our Match Play page.

Next Up

A return to the normally more clement weather-wise West Toll, to Gading Raya at 950,000 Rp including cart, with a tee off time of 11:00, so please register here.
